Apple Pudding Cake
Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup butter or shortening
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 cups flour
- 4 cups apples, peeled, cored, and diced
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Sift together the dry ingredients and set aside. Cream the butter and sugar until fluffy, and beat in the eggs one at a time. Gradually add the dry ingredients, alternating with the apples. Pour into a baking dish and bake for 1 hour.
